Overview

This issue is complicated, and it involves a lot of individual components and ideas. In order to make presenting these ideas more effective, the problem has been divided into smaller chunks. In addition to the novel ideas presented, there will also be articles which will serve as reference, to set a baseline of knowledge.

The content will be divided into three main parts

  1.  The Patient
  2.  The Problem
  3.  The Solution

The Patient

The Patient section will involve an overview of the patient. This will include an extended patient history, detailing the symptoms of the patient as they developed over time. Current symptoms will be elaborated in greater depth.

It will also include a detailed, but anonymized, medical history involving the doctors seen, their diagnoses, opinions, and recommendations.

Finally, it will include diagnostic workups of the patient. These include both official diagnostic tests (imaging studies and other modalities), as well as photographic and videographic evidence

The Problem

The Problem section will detail the hypotheses of the causes of the patient's symptoms, and hypothetical mechanisms by which these issues developed. This section itself will be further divided into the following subcategories

  1. The Deformity
    1. Chest Wall
    2. Vertebral Column
    3. Miscellaneous
  2. The Consequences
    1. Thorax
    2. Shoulder and Upper Extremity
    3. Head and Neck
    4. Thoracic and Lumbar Spine
    5. Hips and Lower Extremity

The Solution

The Solution

  1. Management
  2. Further Testing
  3. Surgical Interventions
  4. Ancillary Interventions
